ジェリについて簡単にご紹介します。

JELI – Japanese (E) English (L) Language (I) Institute

JELI  (J) Japanese (E) English (L) Language (I) Institute is the only free, volunteer organization in Japan.  We are dedicated to helping elementary school students learn English.

Our goal is simple.  Any mother who speaks some English and has an elementary school child is welcome.

JELI was started by Michael Poplawski.  Michael is an American with 30 years experience in business, IT and education.  Michael has an incredible weather of talent, experience and knowledge since working in America for over 30 years.

Michael came to Japan in his 40’s with little to no Japanese.  The only job for non Japanese speaking foreigners is teaching English.  As an experienced professional with incredible talent and ability, Michael was horrified to experience English in Japanese public schools.

In almost every elementary school, junior high school and high school, Michael could not find any teacher, student, adminstrator who speaks even basic conversational English.  Principals and English teachers would not dare even say hello.  This would incite an English response that would terrorize the Japanese English teacher.   Simply, every person in a Japanese public school must avoid the foreign English teacher at all costs.  Never say a word to the foreign, English teacher.

have the most basic English conversation.  It appears that most Japanese have absolutely no pride or care about English.  Even Japanese English teachers are truly incompetent, lazy and stupid individuals

With 99% public school failure and 99% international school and conversation schools success, JELI follows the success of both International and conversation schools.
